School Counsellor       

The school has the services of a District School Counsellor. Children with behavioural, emotional and learning problems may be referred to the counsellor by parents or teachers. A parent interview is desirable in these circumstances.

Parents who have concern about their children's intellectual, behavioural or emotional development are invited to contact the counsellor at school. If unavailable, a message will be taken.

The students of Griffith Public School may make an appointment to see the School Counsellor if they wish to do so.

Written parental consent is required before a cognitive assessment or individual counselling can be carried out by the counsellor.
