ASSPA 

Aboriginal Support And Parent Awareness Program

Griffith Public School is actively involved in and supported by this program.

Parents, community members and school personnel make up the ASSPA committee which meets on a regular basis.

The ASSPA Program aims to:

1. Increase participation of Aboriginal parents in decision making within the school.

2. Promote increased awareness and involvement of Aboriginal parents in the schooling of their children.

3. Increase responsiveness to the educational needs and aspirations of Aboriginal children.

4. Provide resources to contribute to the development of innovative, school based projects and activities.
